V'ger Sky Cloud services based on NCP – as secure as Fort Knox and open to third-party applications

Once again, NOVUM, the future-proof IT partner for the insurance industry, offers users of its V'ger Sky Cloud services, which are based on the NOVUM Cloud Platform (NCP), new features with increased data security. The new version opens NCP to third-party applications and optimizes usability with a new customer portal.

As with all NOVUM services, security and compliance are top priorities for the V'ger Sky Cloud services. Confidentiality, availability and integrity are of fundamental importance for all data managed within the cloud. To enable insurance companies to protect all their data, NCP, which serves as a high-security environment for all V'ger Sky Cloud services, has now been opened to applications outside the V'ger product family. With the new version, third-party applications can be operated securely and easily in the cloud environment. All applications provided in the NCP benefit from a globally unique security and compliance concept, which has won the Digital Leader Award 2016, among others. The deployment and operation of applications in the NCP are certified according to DIN ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

Users of the award-winning V'ger Sky Cloud services will also receive a completely redesigned customer portal. While the IT administration is fully automated, the usability of the business administration has been significantly improved. With the new version, users can not only better manage their applications and data in the cloud, but also manage multiple applications together. The optimization of the associated processes leads to time savings and error minimization.
