Integrating BPM into PASS_Compagnia
This report analyses the integration of BPM (Business Process Management) technology into the PASS_Compagnia insurance management system and is the outcome of a series of meetings held between November 2011 and May 2012.
The document is structured as follows: after an initial overview of PASS_Compagnia, there is a reasoned description of the BPMN standard and the concepts of PAIS (Process-Aware Information Systems) and case handling; it then illustrates the features of some PASS_Compagnia processes, describes the main aspects of the proposed solution and concludes with an appreciation of the integrated vision of the processes and business operations.
