IT Project Lead Insurance | Project Management (m/f/d)

Scope of Responsibilities:

 

  • Project management for core projects, in particularly for the implementation of V'ger standard software in the areas of policy administration, claims and benefits systems as well as collection and partner systems

  • Continuously monitoring the progress of the project to achieve and maintain the project objectives

  • Ensuring continuous reporting and close cooperation with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

  • Supporting in all project activities, including conception, design, realization, project controlling and budget responsibility

  • Creation of capacity and project plans

  • Participation in internal and project steering committees

  • Further development of our V'ger standard Software

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional experience (at least 5-8 years) as a project manager of complex IT projects, ideally in the insurance or financial services sector, with a focus on the introduction and development of applications based on Java EE

  • Certifications as a project manager (PMI, PMA, IPMA) as well as knowledge of the classic waterfall methodology and agile methods beneficial

  • Strong analytical and conceptual understanding with a high affinity for IT

  • Independent and target-oriented approach with a positive team spirit and a high level of quality awareness

  • Corporate mindset, strong focus on the customer and tactical negotiation skills

  • Fast comprehension and strong technical skills 

  • Strong communication and coordination skills combined with the ability to manage conflict and escalation constructively

  • Excellent moderation and presentation skills at all hierarchical levels

  • Highly effective and resilient personality with a hands-on mentality    

  • Willingness to travel occasionally

  • Fluent German, written and spoken
