Development of strategic business models in the cloud
Nuremberg, 10 September 2020
Novum-RGI, the future-proof IT partner for the insurance industry, will present at the MCC congress "Insurance Today and Tomorrow" on September 17 and 18 in Düsseldorf how the development of strategic business models in the cloud can succeed and what role innovations play in this process, e.g. through third-party integrations.
The current corona pandemic of course poses major challenges also to the insurance industry and thus our market. We are extremely pleased that the MCC Congress "Insurance Today and Tomorrow" can take place as a hybrid event with a reduced number of participants, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.
Not only since the Corona crisis and social distancing, cloud solutions have become more and more attractive for the insurance market, and the digital change is now accelerating further due to these special circumstances. But how can cloud solutions be used effectively in the insurance industry? This is exactly the question Achim Heidebrecht (CTO of Novum-RGI) will be focusing in his presentation "Development of strategic business models in the cloud" on September 18. He will show how an IT value chain should look like in order to build strategic business models in the cloud quickly and cost-effectively, and what is necessary to ensure that compliance requirements do not prevent innovations, such as those arising from third-party integrations.
Due to the corona pandemic, Novum-RGI is currently focusing more on expanding its ecosystem with SaaS solutions in the cloud, which offer insurers added value despite social distancing. Trade visitors will have the opportunity to discover Aestimo, for example, live at our booth, where we will apply the highest hygiene standards. The tool for virtual damage assessment is the latest service on the Novum Cloud Platform. Others, such as a solution for the location-independent, legally compliant signature and digital storage of documents, will follow shortly. We look forward to interesting discussions on the topics of digitization and cloud computing in the insurance industry.
