Nuremberg, 16 November 2021
Novum-RGI, part of RGI Group which is leading in the digital transformation of insurers in Europe, will present its new direction on November 23 and 24 at the Leipzig trade fair “IT für Versicherungen.”
For many years, Novum-RGI has been developing tailor-made solutions for the insurance market. Many renowned insurers use V’ger standard software solutions for their P&C and life insurance business, not only available on premises, but also cloud-ready. Novum-RGI leverages the strengths of RGI Group to extend the strengths of its cloud ready standard software solutions in its product strategy and to create a comprehensive ecosystem on top. The systems provided in the cloud are designed to meet compliance requirements. Customers thus benefit from security and advantages in innovation and costs.
In a joint presentation on November 24 at 9 am, Cécile André Leruste, CEO of RGI Group, and Kai-Uwe Reiter, CEO of Novum-RGI, will speak about this strategic direction together with UNIQA, one of the leading Austrian insurers. Tim Farcher (Product Owner Digital Sales Platform, UNIQA) will demonstrate in his presentation entitled “UNIQA’s SaaS Strategy: Agile Success in New Markets” what benefits this new strategy and direction imply for insurers such as UNIQA.
„Novum-RGI is a company with great cloud-based products and a strong potential for growth, which we are building upon.” Cécile André Leruste, Group CEO of RGI, emphasizes the significance of Novum-RGI for the entire group. “Cloud platforms are fundamental to offer our clients the essential assets for their business in SaaS mode. Our strategy is to accelerate these highly innovative models thus further strengthening our positioning as a key player in the European IT Insurance market.”
Kai-Uwe Reiter, CEO of Novum-RGI, adds: “Novum-RGI has the most modern IT insurance solutions at its disposal and a very experienced, highly motivated team. That makes us a reliable partner for our clients in realizing their transformation successfully. We draw from our own large solution portfolio that will be specifically enriched by RGI Group. Our focus on SaaS will add value for our clients in terms of agility and advantages in innovation and costs.”
But as well, Novum-RGI keeps working on modern solutions for its clients in terms of policy administration systems. After having gone live successfully with the business lines contents insurance, home insurance, and liability insurance at the insurance group ‘die Bayerische’ this year, the fourth major business line, accident insurance, went live just recently. The pace of transformation is unique considering the current pandemic situation. Interested insurers will have the chance to experience Elementar, the modern policy administration system of die Bayerische, on November 23 at 12:30 pm live during a presentation and, on both days of the fair, at Novum-RGI’s stand.
Acquiring Flexperto, a software provider for the digital B2C communication and collaboration, RGI Group has been expanding its range of cloud-based quote and communication services. Today, more than 100 clients put their trust in Flexperto’s solutions, especially numerous well-known brands of the insurance and financial services sector. Flexperto offers a fully web-based platform for modern digital consultations and can also be seen at Novum-RGI’s stand.
The trade fair of the Versicherungsforen is the insurance industry’s central event in Germany. The fair serves as a marketplace for IT specialists of insurance companies and IT service providers focusing on IT specific topics of the insurance industry who can assess the latest developments, trends, and projects in the industry. Novum-RGI is looking forward to two exciting days with interesting conversations at the stand together with RGI Group and Flexperto.
