VOLKSWOHL BUND modernizes its property insurance business and replaces its legacy systems with V'ger P&C from Novum-RGI
Nuremberg, 03 August 2023
After a selection process lasting several months, VOLKSWOHL BUND Sachversicherung AG decided to replace its entire core system and to replace it in all lines of business with the standard solution V'ger P&C from Novum-RGI.
VOLKSWOHL BUND Versicherungen was founded in 1919 and offers insurance coverage for private households as well as small and medium-sized commercial enterprises, focusing on tailor-made insurance products for almost all areas of life that convince demanding insurance customers. For the modernization of its entire property insurance business, the Dortmund-based insurer has now chosen V'ger P&C. The powerful standard software solution for the administration of the composite business will replace all legacy systems and map all property lines at VOLKSWOHL BUND in the contract, claims and product administration.
As a multi-line system, V'ger P&C contains modern solutions for all types of insurance and includes all necessary actuarial core systems that are operated on a single standard platform. Successful software implementation is ensured by a tried-and-tested process model that Novum-RGI has continuously developed from a large number of successfully implemented projects.
Dr. Gerrit Böhm, Member of the Board of VOLKSWOHL BUND, explains the joint partnership as follows: "Novum-RGI has proven, not least in the joint preliminary phase, that they are the right IT partner for composite for us. The established standard software solutions for the insurance market will support us in continuing our modernization process and in offering our sales partners and customers even better products and service in the future."
"We are happy and proud of this partnership with one of the largest broker insurers in Germany. We are looking forward to the joint project and to provide VOLKSWOHL BUND with the appropriate platform for the modernization of its IT systems with our solutions, which are currently in great demand in the insurance market." Kai-Uwe Reiter, CEO of Novum-RGI Deutschland GmbH, is enthusiastic about the joint partnership.
